A saya is a traditional Japanese wooden knife sheath. It protects the edge in a drawer or knife bag, keeps fingers safe, and helps keep moisture off the blade. Most saya are made from magnolia (ho wood), which is soft enough not to dull the edge and light enough to carry easily.
This collection includes natural and lacquered magnolia saya and magnetic oak saya for gyuto, santoku, nakiri, petty, paring, yanagi, deba and other knives, plus replacement safety pins. Choose a saya that matches your knife type and blade length.
