Double Edged – Suminagashi Blue Steel
Suminagashi, or ink floating, is a layered Damascus pattern created by forging soft and hard steels together around a high-carbon core. On these double-edged knives the core is Blue Steel, known for holding a keen edge through long use, and every blade carries its own flowing pattern.
This collection includes gyuto, santoku and nakiri, with kurouchi black-forged and Mizu Yaki finishes, shitan handles and lacquered nuri saya covers. They are everyday working knives with the look of a collector's piece. For single-bevel versions, see Single Edged Suminagashi Blue Steel.
