Yoshihiro Magnetic Oak Wood Saya Cover Blade Protector for Gyuto

For Gyuto chef's knives from 7" (180mm) to 10.5" (270mm), this magnetic oak saya protects the edge without a retaining pin. Oak is harder than our earlier magnolia covers, so it resists dents, scratches and stains.

This upgraded saya features a built-in magnetic closure, eliminating the need for a traditional pin. The magnetic hold securely keeps the saya in place during normal use while removing the inconvenience of inserting pins or worrying about losing them. The pinless design also offers improved compatibility with Western-style knives, as there are no pin holes required.

For optimal performance, it is recommended to dry the knife thoroughly before placing it into the saya to ensure a proper fit and maximize protection.
