Made for double-edged Kiritsuke of 9.5" (240mm) and 10.5" (270mm), this lacquered magnolia saya follows the angled kiritsuke tip and closes with a retaining pin. Its natural lacquer finish resists stains and odours and gives a glossy, finished look.
Made from Japanese Magnolia wood (Ho-no-ki), this blade protector is soft, moisture-resistant, and free of strong resins that could cause corrosion in carbon steel knives. The non-toxic lacquer coating further enhances its durability, offering stain, chip, and odor resistance while ensuring easy cleaning for your convenience. This protector showcases an elegant appearance that accentuates the unique beauty of the wood grain.
For added safety, a peg is incorporated to securely keep the blade and sheath in place, giving you peace of mind when storing your cherished knives.
